Here is the complete process for gathering the materials and crafting Hexolite in Palworld 1.0.
Hexolite is one of the most important late-game crafting materials, and both of its main ingredients come from Feybreak Island:
• Hexolite Quartz
• Chromite
HEXOLITE QUARTZ
Hexolite Quartz is the easy part.
Large white crystals with a faded rainbow appearance can be found throughout Feybreak, both on the surface and inside caves and dungeons. Mine them normally with a strong pickaxe or Mining Pal.
A particularly useful Hexolite Quartz cluster can be found around:
-1068, -1430
This area is known for having three nearby Hexolite Quartz nodes and is also popular as a resource-base location.
HOW TO FIND CHROMITE
Chromite is much harder because it stays buried underground until you detect it.
The easiest method is to capture a Smokie on Feybreak and craft Smokie’s Harness.
A guaranteed Alpha Smokie can be found around:
-879, -1467
Regular Smokie also roam across the northern half of Feybreak’s Scorched Hill region.
Smokie’s Harness unlocks at Technology Level 58 and requires:
• 20 Leather
• 50 Fiber
• 5 Dark Fragments
• 40 Paldium Fragments
Once crafted, it unlocks Smokie’s Partner Skill, Dig, Dog! Dig!
Deploy Smokie and activate the Partner Skill while exploring Feybreak.
If Chromite is buried nearby, you will hear the ground break apart and the hidden node will rise from underground. You can then mine it normally.
Smokie also increases the amount of Chromite you receive while it is active. A basic Smokie doubles Chromite drops, while a fully condensed Smokie can increase the bonus even further.
BEST CHROMITE FARM
Chromite can appear on the surface, but caves and underground tunnels are much faster because several nodes are packed into a smaller area.
An easy cave entrance is around:
-912, -1318
This cave commonly contains four Chromite locations and does not require fighting an Alpha boss.
You can also farm Chromite above ground around the Scorched Hill fast-travel point at approximately -1191, -1254. Current guides report roughly eight buried surface nodes around this area.
CRAFTING HEXOLITE
The Gigantic Furnace unlocks at Technology Level 58.
Current Palworld 1.0.2 live data lists the recipe as:
1 Chromite + 1 Hexolite Quartz → 1 Hexolite
You need a Fire Pal with Kindling to operate the furnace.
