There's going to be a future enhancement to the games in Microsoft's emulator sometime in the future, sooner or later. In Tekken Tag 2's case, when you perform a tag move can increase the CPU usage to 25-50%. Fighting games are mostly not CPU heavy. A game like Soulcalibur VI for example, which has really good A.I. compared to its hand-to-hand cousin, Tekken 7, mostly uses 25% of the CPU resources if you're using a 5th generation mid-range CPU from 6 years ago.
There's also some info that the Xbox executive, Spencer, wants every company in the game industry to allow preservation, so we can play all games from all generations and all platforms by emulation. Knowing many people really dislike remasters because most of them are just re-releases of the same game only with higher resolution and sharpness and having to pay for it, which Microsoft can do the same with emulation. I assume that Microsoft has already made emulators from older systems and he's just waiting for game publishers and system developers (Sony, Nintendo, Sega, etc.) to legalize them.
