Hey everyone,

Welcome to episode 15 of Cowabunga Corner Season 4. In this episode I get to interview the man behind Tokka, Kurt Bryant. Kurt is a professional stunts performer. In this movie he was suited up in a heavy costume from Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Check out the interview to hear his stories of being Tokka!

I was very lucky to get a hold of Kurt, and found him to be a totally nice guy. One of the things I did with Kurt, was I asked him to call a fellow TMNT fan to talk to him on the phone. The fan that he called is known on "Go Green Machine" and "Mikey's Forum", he's known for his passion in the Turtle fandom and his art work that has even gotten published in Tales of TMNT Volume 2! He goes by the name Tokka, and is a huge fan of Tokka and Rahzar. So when I had a chance to meet the actor behind Tokka, I wanted to share this with our online Tokka.

Kurt was awesome, and even had a gift for me. One which I shared on display for Michigan Action Figure Expo when they brought me in as a guest on May 7th, 2012. The gift, which I hope to have up in a Museum some day is Tokka's hand used in the movie! Thanks Kurt!

Power Con: Classic Toon TMNT Writers Panel

$CCN: IDW Nick TMNT interview Kenny Byerly There are few people in the entertainment industry which can say theyve worked on more than one media of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those who have been able to put this upon their resume, usually have a bit of a gap between their work. Matt Hill went from TMNT 3 to the Next Mutation, Robbie Rist went from the TMNT movies to an extra voice in the red sky seasons of the original toon, Rob Paulsen the voice of Raphael in the original toon, and now the voice of Donatello for the new series, and there are more. The interesting thing with this interview is the lack of the gap, Kenny Byerly finished wrapping up Season 1 of Nickelodeons Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles writing for the series. He is already working on the new IDW Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Comics. This summer we were lucky to sit down with him about his work on the IDW TMNT comics. I met Kenny at a comic book store, which held a TMNT event. It was an honor to meet him, as we got to talk a little there. Hes a good guy and had a lot to share on both of the TMNT medias hes worked with. Cowabunga Corner Season 6 will have an interview with him for his work on the Nickelodeon animated series. The day before filming she went to the beach with our friends. When leaving the water, a wave pulled her back into the water and brought her up in another wave smashing her face into the ground. This broke her teeth and nose, fractured her face and snapped her neck. The hospital released her telling her that her neck was not broken. We recently learned that her neck was broken, and she is now going in to get help with that. Even with all of the pain she was in, Miki got up and went with me to do this interview.
