Hiroshi and Mia's first meeting.

I was going to make Hiroshi pull out and play an oboe, before realizing I couldn't edit his spritesheet because I don't have Adobe Animate. I was too lazy do it, but then while watching it, Monika would sing the part with the oboe. I was too lazy to change it, so Monika's singing the oboe part.

6 weeks before the festival...

School had just ended. Mia got up out of her seat, and was going to walk downstairs to go home, until she heard two voices from one of the rooms. Curiously, she peeked into the room to see two students still in class; Monika, and one boy she didn't recognize.

The blue haired boy noticed her, and waved. She jumped in surprise, before she saw that he was gesturing for her to come inside. She sheepishly walked in, and the boy took his hand out.

"Greetings!" He smiled. "I'm Hiroshi! What's your name?"

She didn't take it out of fear. "M-Mia. I'm Mia Parks." She answered.

Hiroshi smiled. "So, why were you looking at us? Is it because we're cool?" He chuckled slightly, before switching his gaze at Monika, almost to ask if he was as cool as her. Mia didn't answer, instead lifting her hand to scratch her neck.

"I...heard s-something." She answered. "I h-heard you talking, and I-I was confused why you weren't leaving..."

"I have a club to tend to." Monika said. "It's on the third floor, if you want to join."

"She asked me if I wanted to join, too!" Hiroshi butted in. "Did you know they deal with all kinds of literature? It'd seem like fun!" He said. Then, he lifted his hand to his face like a prince. "I have a bunch of history books, if you wanted to know. My family tree is huge!! Do you know that? I have so many cool family members!!"

Hiroshi kept going on and on before Monika stopped him. "Anywayyyy...do you wanna join?"

Mia thought about it for a moment. "I-I'll check it out during the festival." She didn't seem so sure about it, but she didn't want to upset Monika or Hiroshi.

"Awesome!! I'll go, too!!" Hiroshi said. "Hey, do you want to meet Ayano this Saturday? I bet she'll like you."

Mia whimpered slightly, before responding.

"Wh-what do you guys like to do on weekends?" She asked. Hiroshi smiled, before explaining everything he liked. Mia would sometimes interject with her own thoughts, before hearing about how he used to play the oboe.

"I-I learned to play the flute in 5th grade." She said. "I wanted to play this really hard song, but I never could because my aunt use to take it."

Hiroshi scowled. "Why'd she do that?"

"I don't know." She whimpered. "Whenever I'm at her house, nothing good would happen. One time she didn't come home, and my cousins had to take care of me."

"Do you still see her?" Monika asked, sounding as if she's dealt with this before.

"Dad moved away after leaving mom, so no..." She said. "His job required him to move. That's why I'm here."

"Well, maybe we can play together one day!" He said. "I still have my oboe in my closet! Do you still have your flute?" She was surprised at the sudden question. Then, she nodded.

"Wanna hear my oboe impression?" Monika suddenly asked. The two nodded, confused, before staring in awe as Monika flawlessly made the sound of an oboe! Mia couldn't stop laughing after hearing it, and started clapping.

"It sounds so accurate!!" Hiroshi cried out.

"Accurate...Yeah." Monika slyly said. "Well, I gotta go. I'm gonna be late for my club meeting." She waved, before slipping out of the room.Out of the eyesight of the others, she pulled out the console and checked for their files. Her eyes widened, before smiling.

"Well, I guess it wouldn't matter if we had more...interesting club members."
