Clopin is one of the most badass characters ever concieved by Disney (the man does flips just to move forward darnit!) He's also got the most pimpin' clothes ever.
First off, Paul Kandel has such an amazing tenor voice and there's no way I could ever in my life if I was allowed to live for 500 years match that (mainly since I can't really sing to save my life and because he's a legit tenor and I'm a baritone). Anyway, I did this for a singing contest I'm in (we had to do a song sung by a human) so I narrowed it down to either Cruella De Vil or this one (someone suggested Out There, I laughed hard for about 10 minutes). I ultimately went with this one because it's "showier".
I had to try to maintain a higher pitch for my voice with both the speaking (I did the hand puppet too but that doesn't count) and singing which I'm not really all that used to doing so the speaking especially was a bit tricky. It turned out ok in the end though I think (I must've yelled IT'S A DOUBLE HEADER about 40 times).
I also took the liberty to throw in a Peter Lorre esque voice when Clopin says "loyal bell ringing henchman". The animation was just begging for it even if Peter Lorre wasn't born for another 300 years or so.
The instrumental and the gorgeous HD footage was as usual given to me by my friend, Marcus (DisneyMusicHighDef).

It didn't come with many sfx though (just the flame wooshes and about a handful of others) so I had to make everything else from scratch (most notably the footsteps when Clopin runs around on the gallow platform). Another tricky thing were the sound levels of my vocals which had to be raised and lowered quite a bit.
