On September 23rd 2023, Pava LaPere was found dead on the roof of her Baltimore, Maryland apartment. It would later be discovered that her killer had attacked a couple on 3 days prior on September 19th. They had survived and identified the suspect. However, the manhunt didn't locate Jason Billingsley until after he murdered the tech CEO.
