My Aunt asked if I could check out her portable induction "hot plate" which had a melted plug. I replaced the damaged plug with a heavy duty plug from Lowes. I also did the quick "refrigerator magnet" test to find a compatible piece of cookware
Though now trending with the recent "decarbonization" movement, induction has been around for a lot longer than most would think.
