Powered up the cooling unit from the Norcold on AC the day after my friend and I took it apart. The compressor runs but even after trying the suggestions in a service manual I downloaded, it still doesn't get cold.

I'm starting to think it may have lost its refrigerant and had considered re-charging it with Butane (R-600). It is originally made for R-12
