Self-described intergalactic space warrior Count Binface has delivered his “victory speech” after securing nearly 10,000 votes in the Clacton by-election.

While Reform UK leader Nigel Farage retained the seat with 22,239 votes, he boycotted the official count to avoid being “demeaned and humiliated by nobodies.”

That left Binface, who won a career-high 9,455 votes, as the highest-placed candidate actually standing on stage at the declaration.
