The Cotswold Way – a truly beautiful National Trail stretching just over 100 miles. It begins in the charming market town of Chipping Campden, meanders south through the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and finishes in the historic City of Bath.
Join me on this series every Sunday as I set out to walk and film every single step of this stunning trail, sharing the entire journey with you from start to finish.
Part 1: Chipping Campden to Broadway – 6.16 miles (9.91 km)
Our journey begins in the picturesque, historic market town of Chipping Campden, a place that feels like stepping back in time. From here, we leave the cobbled charm behind and head out onto the Cotswolds escarpment, where we’re greeted by breathtaking views from Dover’s Hill—a spot that comes alive every June with the quirky, centuries-old ‘Cotswold Olimpick’ Games.
The trail then leads us across rolling fields to the iconic Broadway Tower, a striking folly standing tall amidst the countryside. From there, we descend gently into the enchanting village of Broadway, a hub of history and creativity with ties to the Arts & Crafts movement.
This first leg of the Cotswold Way includes 567 feet (173 metres) of ascent and 790 feet (241 metres) of descent—a manageable and rewarding start to our adventure.

I use Davinci Resolve Studio 19 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to YouTube. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.
