Panama Canal CANCELLED?! Our Caribbean Princess cruise didn’t go to plan…

Limón, Costa Rica, was everything we hoped for: sunshine, lush rainforest, and incredible wildlife. Easily one of the BEST cruise ports we’ve visited.

Then we arrived in Colón, Panama… and things changed. Shortly before embarking, we found out that our partial transit through the Panama Canal was NOT going to happen. This was supposed to be one of the highlights of the cruise.

Instead, we stayed in Colón, which isn’t one of the most attractive of ports.
