We spend the weekend at Studley Castle, a Warner Hotel in Warwickshire for a Radio Times Popmaster weekend of quizzes.
The guests for the weekend include the legendary Ken Bruce, Lucy Porter, Jenny Ryan (The Vixen) and Toby Anstis.
Studley Castle is an impressive Victorian Country House in the heart of Shakespeare’s England.
The house was designed in a Gothic Revival style by the architect Samuel Beazley and was completed in 1836.
We stayed for 3 nights in one of the original castle rooms.
As well as the Radio Times Ken Bruce Popmaster event as with all the Warner Hotels there are lots of other activities. Indoor heated swimming pool, fitness classes, and archery to name but a few are included with spa treatments and gin tasting at an additional supplement.
Stratford upon Avon is about a 30-minute drive from Studley Castle and Birmingham about 20 miles away.
