This year I've received tons of NEW (& unreleased) music from regional artists. Some of these bands are ready for RMW, while others need a bit more development. One band that has seriously intrigued me is SA's Corpse Hole with their distinctive take on melodic death metal. I was first introduced to them when they performed at this year's Battle for Wacken where I was impressed by their professional & tight performace. Vocalist, Aaron Copeland is undoubtedly the focal point of the band's onslaught, but their dual guitar attack is ALSO quite imposing. The band is currently working on a NEW recording (the follow up to 2023's 4-song EP, 'Of Rot & Ruin') & when it is done - you will surely see them on RMW. SO, I was happy I got to check them out this past Friday at The Mix where they belted a few new tunes in an small & intimate atmosphere.
