The Lancaster County Coroner's Office is investigating the death of another person with measles in their system amid ongoing controversy surrounding the illness and messaging from officials.
Coroner Stephen Diamantoni confirmed his office received the report on Monday.
The individual's name and age have not been revealed, but they reportedly died within the "recent past," according to Diamantoni.
The coroner said it's too early to tell if the person died from the disease, and that he was unsure if this person was the second individual Governor Shapiro mentioned in last week's press conference.
