I am a surgeon at the University of Cape Town, where I also teach data science, statistics, and deep learning. Apart from my contribution as a physician, I want to add to the educational resources on data analysis of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data analysis is an important tool in the management of any healthcare crisis. To everyone watching this video during the pandemic, please be as safe as possible and follow the guidelines set out by your local healthcare authority.

In this video, I use the Wolfram Language to analyze WHO coronavirus medical data available on the Wolfram Data Repository: datarepository.wolframcloud.com

If you want to learn how to use the Wolfram Language, take a look at this massive open online course from the University of Cape Town on Coursera: coursera.org/learn/clinical-research-biostatistics-wolfram

The notebook files are available at: github.com/juanklopper/Coursera-Doing-clinical-research/tree/master
