Today it was the first day of the Coronavirus lockdown in Berlin. After canceling my journey to Norway (here's why: letterstobarbara.com/coronavirus-traveling/), I thought of having a long walk in the city. It doesn't feel right to be in cafes or cinemas these days and walking seems the only thing that one can enjoy. Everything is shut from today on in Berlin, and this is the beginning of a difficult time for all of us.
Once again, I reached the Tempelhofer Feld, Berlin's biggest park (read more about it here: letterstobarbara.com/why-visit-tempelhofer-feld-berlin ). This is a typical hangout of the locals, and it's usually packed. It was a sunny day in Berlin, but due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the streets were empty. However, when I arrived at Tempelhofer Feld, which is located in the former Tempelhof Airport, the place was full of people. The atmosphere in the city is not the best currently, and you could see that people kept distance (which is usually not the case). I thought of shooting a short video with my DJI Osmo Pocket in 4K just for the record, to remember how the first day of the Coronavirus lockdown looked like in Berlin. Stay safe everyone.
