It's time for a grackle close-up! Watch these Common Grackles sample seeds at the tube feeder alongside European Starlings, Red-winged Blackbirds, and a Blue Jay. These large, conspicuous blackbirds of eastern North America are set apart from other birds on the feeders by their size, plumage, thicker bills, and pale yellow eyes.
