Lesson 2: When you rush to prone restraint you give the subject the ability to “build the house” and access weapons in the vicinity because their hands are free.
By prioritizing supine and lateral restraint in multiple-officer arrest encounters, the SafeWrap System makes it significantly more challenging to build the house, AND by prioritizing wrist control it greatly decreases the risk of the subject accessing or utilizing a weapon.
