THIS WAS SO FUN YEAH! I knew I just HAD to join because the cool, slightly emotionless designer-shades-wearing guy the song is about reminded me so much of Agent Smith and thankfully I was able to get a suitable part. And well, like I said, this edit was very fun to make :D
For the cut-off beginning "(... designer) shades just to hide your face" I used the clip of Agent Smith pointing at his face very... deliberately purposefully (Agent Smith quote, hehe) to make it seem like he's referring to his sunglasses (when he's actually talking about his ear piece), followed by Neo breaking them which finally lets you see his emotions which seem to be hidden by the sunglasses most of the time. "And you wear them around (...)" is just him... well, wearing his designer shades around while doing agent duties XD. For "(...) like you're cooler than me" I wanted some cool gunshot action and later added that clip of him turning around 'cause the shooting stuff looked a bit boring being dragged out and I wanted some clip of him acting kinda bitchy and confident. "And you never say hey, or remember my name" is supposed to be more funny due to it being ironic with Smith greeting the heroic trio or interacting with Neo - when Smith is actually the only character who calls Neo by his actual name XD. "And it's probably because you think you're cooler than me" has some cool walking clips of Agent Smith and OH MY GOD that scene with the crows was THE exact scene I had in mind when I saw the MEP opening 'cause it's just one of his actually coolest scenes. And for the instrumental ending added some fight scenes from the 3rd movie 'cause I didn't use much from that one yet and 'cause, well, they're epic fight scenes of Smith, so they're more than suitable :D
I used some slightly bouncy and some normal blending transitions 'cause they were most suitable and not distracting. Aaaand I didn't add any coloring, even if it looks like it! The Matrix is just naturally SO fucking GREEN!
Btw I'm pretty satisfied with how this part turned out so yeeeahh I'm kinda proud of this one especially :D
