Ha, I really had fun helping out with this part, especially since I love this song and have my Matrix obsession despite struggling with some editor's block buuut whatever!
(I know the song is about hatefcking but I made it suit Neo, Agent Smith and Trinity, hopefully without making it seem like a cringy love triangle :'D)
It starts off with "And I know I've said it a million times" refers to the "million times" Smith and Neo have met and faced off, which originally seemed to have started as a deal with an FBI agent. "(...) but I'll only stay with you one more night" is kinda Neo getting ready to fight Smith in the first movie, thinking it would be their final fight where the villain is actually destroyed. I put the clips for "Try to tell you, No (...)" literally just because they looked cool AND obviously because of Agent Smith actually just reacting with a surprisingly calm "No!" at Neo about to blast into his office with an attack helicopter :'D. "(...) but my body keeps on telling you, Yes" is literally just Neo being totally in his element with his Matrix-body "telling him yes" while he is kicking the Smith copie's butts. "Try to tell you, Stop" is where I HAD to put Neo STOPPING the agent's bullets in his iconic epic way and "But your lipstick got me so out of breath" finally has Trinity kissing Neo - immidiately followed by Neo literally being exhausted and out of breath during his final fight against Smith 'cause sadly our favorite evil program neither wears lipstick nor kisses anyone in the movies. "I'll be waking up (...)" needed Neo jerking up from his "nightmare" aaaand Smith slipping because the combo just looked too funny. For "In the morning probably hating myself" just has Neo's sunlit face while watching the helicopter and Smith probably quite literally hates himself 'cause we see him curse at Neo's escape XD. "I'll be waking up (...)" is in fact not Neo waking but... turning into Jesus and then sorta dying I guess, ending with "(...) feeling satisfied but guilty as hell", hoping that Neo is not actually as satisfied or Agent Smith as guilty-feeling as my combo with the song suggests XD. And I ended it with both of them dying because... I needed ending clips and dying via virtual explosion is one hell of a death (no pun intended regarding the song lyrics btw, that one literally just came to my mind XD).
I didn't use any filters or colorings despite the absolutely horrifyingly intense green tint of the Matrix and originally wanted to use a mix of transitions but then I just used some bouncy-blending ones because they looked best.
I really like how this is a longer part and I'm veeery satisfied with how the clips suit the lyrics :D
