BBQ Mushroom Steak Sandwich.
By now everyone knows I'm a huge fan of the mighty mushroom. I was recently asked to film myself doing a cook up, to challenge a local company's team to cook more delicious and affordable plant based dishes. What a great way to encourage and get people to cook. Ingredients:
1.50g Brown Oyster Mushroom £1.70
Baguette 0.60
Bell Pepper 0.25
Onion 0.25
Chestnut mushrooms 0.45
Seasoning (full jar) 1.50
Mayo (full jar) 1.20
Directions/method: as shown in video.
total = £5.95
All ingredients were purchased at my local Tesco. Note- the mayo and seasoning are the bulk of the cost and that I show the full price of both in which only a small portion was used.
