Jennifer Grim, flutist with the Zéphyros Winds, pianist Audrey Andrist and composer Jeff Scott speak with the Library's David Plylar about an evening of wind and piano chamber music. The concert included music by Arthur Berger, Margaret Bonds and several composers whose collections are held at the Library: Leonard Bernstein, Ruth Crawford Seeger and Irving Fine. A new transcription by Jeff Scott for wind quintet of Irving Fine's "Diversions" received its premiere, and composer Jeff Scott spoke about his experiences creating his version of the work. The event and commissioned transcription were generously supported by the Verna and Irving Fine Endowment in the Library of Congress.
