In Dandadan episode 9, A Serpo discovers that Aira is superhuman like Okarun, explaining how she enters dimensional space. He has the crab-headed alien fight Aira up close while he attacks with psychic powers. Okarun tries to protect Aira but is subdued by the Serpo’s powers. Momo arrives to help, and the Serpo boosts the crab alien’s strength. The fight is interrupted when water floods Empty Space, and the enhanced crab alien sends Aira into the ceiling to drown. Momo uses Okarun as a speedboat to rescue Aira and expel water from her lungs. The Serpo fuses with the crab alien and Nessie to enhance their powers. Together, they defeat the alien, escape Empty Space, and land in the school hallway—embarrassed to find themselves in their underwear, causing Aira and the others to flee in panic.
