This is a piece I wrote for a composition class I took my freshman year of college. I wrote this to accompany a dance in which three dancers each represented a different emotion: happiness, sadness, and anger. For each emotion I came up with a four-note motif (C, D, E, F for happiness; A, B, C, D for sadness; and F, G sharp, A, B for anger).
Instrumentation:
Piano, Drum Set, 2 Violins, Viola, Cello
