GODDAMN I love Order of the Stick so much. If you haven't heard of this webcomic, which you probably haven't, it's a DND-based vector comic that's been going on for OVER A DECADE, and it's fantasically funny and interesting and dramatic and intense and OH MY GOD I LOVE IT. The art's a little rough in the beginning, but stick through and I promise it's amazing. Someone dropped a part from Contact and I decided to snap it up for myself.

The main character in this is Redcloak the goblin cleric, who is my favorite damn character EVER and I love him. But I bought Start of Darkness the other day and now I'm so scared for him. Stay safe idiot,,,

Alright! This MAP focuses on the cycle of dead cats entering the Dark Forest, and being introduced to its thrills by the previous dead. Julie and the Phantoms is a fantastically underrated show, and this song is just the catchiest thing Ive ever heard.

This MAP is based on a Warriors horror AU I created, and I knew I had to snap up at least one part from it!! Its the coolest thing and the end result is gonna look RAD AS ALL HELL!!
Side note, these designs are fantastic. Theyre all very simple to draw but unique and easy to differentiate. Ashfur doesnt have 10,000 spots... a miracle...

Oh I should also probably explain what this video is about lol. Slugpelt is the main character (white with blue ears and tail), she had a very bad relationship with her mother Dustfeather (brown). Dustfeather neglected Slugpelt in favor of her brother Rainhaze (blue tabby), and never really seemed to want her daughter. The two of them had a strained dynamic at best.
Fast forward and Slugpelt has ended up having her own kits (left to right its Daffodilkit, Pinekit, Asphodelkit), and their father was a loner who ended up leaving Slugpelt rather than join BarrenClan. She thinks back to her own terrible childhood, and feels conflicted about what kind of mother she might end up being to these kits.

A mira-miracle! Thanks to Burrferns for letting me join this fun MAP. I did the most editing experimenting Ive done so far.
The story in this:
My Warriors OC Harestrike is the main character. Theyve been banished from their Clan and have wandered around the wilderness for months, going mad from isolation and anger. Their Dark Forest parents, Rustheart and Crowthorn, haunt their memories with disappointment and failure. Next we see them in the Dark Forest too, after their death, going mad once again trapped in there.

Ive always wanted to make more stuff with my Warriors OCs, and the response to them Ive gotten really encouraged me. This is about my OC Harestrike. Theyre a character in the comic Im writing, The Dog Star, which you can find here: https://www.deviantart.com/razmerry/gallery/68812725/the-dog-star
Heres a summarized explanation of the events in this PMV:
(Also, note that Harestrike is non-binary, and uses they/them pronouns)
Harestrike is the leader of an insurrection group that is trying to overthrow the Clans, and eventually StarClan. They mock the leaders of the Clans, Snakestar (brown tabby), Miststar (gray), and Pearstar (white Scottish fold). Their parents, Rustheart (white and brown, mother) and Crowthorn (tuxedo, father), are in the Dark Forest and have encouraged them.
Transition to when they were Harewillow the medicine cat, the night after they killed their mentor Lavenderwhisker and the leader Sparrowstar died from illness. This is the night they began their insurrection movement. They see their younger self, Harekit, as a lonely child whose parents left them without saying goodbye. Harewillow sheds a tear as that past disappears, but they take on the name Harestrike as they quite the medicine code and strike back against StarClan.
Harestrike imagines tearing apart StarClan from the inside, crushing the StarClan leader Applestar (dark brown tabby), and finally getting everything they ever wanted.
Transition back to the present day of the PMV, in the battle with the three leaders. Chaos is reigning, and many cats are dead. Snakestar, Miststar, and Pearstar all make an agreement.
Now, a flashback, and we finally get to see Harewillow killing their mentor Lavenderwhisker. Imagine this as their point of no return.
