Construction is underway for first purpose-built Archives building in Aotearoa. @LTMcGuiness have driven in 17 of the 38 piles, including the sheet piles for the lift shafts. These piles are driven 12 metres below ground - that’s around the height of a 4-storey building! The new Archives Building is expected to be open to the public in 2026.
