While the 15th Street grade crossing near the Porter Junction was being worked on, a Conrail GP15-1 with No. 21283 caboose and assorted freight cars came into the nearby siding. An eastbound Amtrak train on the Michigan Central line also passed through, along with a westbound Amtrak train on the New York Central line.
