For regional, rural and remote Queensland communities, aeromedical services are a lifeline.
Brisbane Airport’s Aeromedical Precinct has reached the halfway mark, bringing Queensland communities closer to critical medical and emergency care when every minute matters.
Located between Brisbane Airport’s parallel runways for quick access, the purpose-built precinct will bring together aircraft, crews and resources for Royal Flying Doctor Service, LifeFlight, Retrieval Services Queensland and Queensland Police Service Aviation Capability Group in one dedicated aeromedical hub.
Delivered in partnership with the Queensland Government as part of Future BNE, the precinct will support faster, more coordinated access to care for patients travelling between regional Queensland and Brisbane’s medical network.
The precinct is due to be completed and operational next year.
