The Congress Party's Leh recalled the September 24 violence and demanded that the judicial inquiry report be made public without further delay. Party leaders said the prolonged delay in delivering justice is a matter of serious concern and urged the government to ensure justice for the victims at the earliest.

It asserted that, as representatives of Ladakh, the priority should be to secure justice for the victims of the September 24 violence rather than engage in political blame games.
