Confetti Cake with Strawberries and Cream Topping

Marie used the King Author Confetti Cake Mix Gluten Free and followed the directions on the box for the cake.
For the strawberries Marie used a carton of frozen strawberries in syrup from Walmart.
She thawed them first and then added about 4 ounces of evaporated milk and a couple spoons of sugar or sugar substitute to taste.
