Vintage Books invited me to see Conclave, and I was so happy to see it a second time as it quickly became a new favorite film of mine during my initial viewing
I will admit this is a niche film to love but it’s most definitely for those who enjoy a slow-burn with a shocking payoff that will emit gasps from theatres.
Each shot was as gorgeous as its setting, and every performance, especially Ralph Fieness, drew me closer to the screen in my desperate attempt to uncover secrets lurking beneath the surface.
Overall, this film is stunning, surprisingly thrilling, and is sure to cause quite a stir with its various revelations.
