Deliciously lush and introspective, Thirst is a quiet, gothic vampire tale following two women from different time periods, both overwhelmed with a suffocating loneliness and desire that consumes them whole.

While I do think part one was stronger than the latter half, this meditative historical fiction is still a fantastic read for anyone seeking out an original take on the traditional vampire story.
