Put yourself in the audience of an exclusive media briefing at Computex 2026, where Intel Fellow Tom “TAP” Petersen gives a detailed overview of new Intel Arc G-Series processors for handheld gaming devices. He explores the evolution of Arc Graphics and what’s needed for handhelds before introducing the new Intel Arc G3 family based on Panther Lake and how it differs from Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors based on the same architecture.

The presentation covers performance compared to the previous generation and the competition, including a deeper analysis of the impact of XeSS Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) on the smoothness of the gaming experience. Frame generation can be particularly helpful for handhelds because it requires fewer resources than rasterization.

TAP also explains updates to Intelligent Bias Control (IBC), which helps balance the CPU and GPU more effectively, and new pre-compiled shaders designed to save time when you first load a game. He closes with an update on Intel’s extensive engagement with game developers to expand XeSS adoption and fuel Day-0 driver releases.
