Intel Fellow Tom “TAP” Petersen breaks down the massive performance leap in the new Intel Arc B390 GPU built into select Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. His presentation covers how the Xe3 graphics architecture delivers a leap in performance that outperforms the competition and matches up well against discrete laptop GPUs like the RTX 4050. Petersen dives into XeSS 3, including multi-frame generation technology, and discusses new PresentMon metrics that go beyond FPS to measure real gaming smoothness, including a new “animation error” metric designed to capture stutter and timing issues more accurately.
