housing being milled out of 6061-t6 alu. 12ipm .050 doc. im not using coolant, but a high speed blower to blast chips away. works pretty well, so im making a better one using a turbo compressor wheel. this is the bottom half. going to use a brushless rc plane motor to spin the compressor to ~30,000 rpms.
later found that this housing makes a loud siren sound. im going to modify it some to reduce turbulence.
