Complex Characters is here to change all that! This mod breathes new life into Calradia by adding 467 brand-new dialogue lines that react dynamically to your actions.
Imagine executing a rival lord, only to have their family members remember and confront you with grief, anger, or vows of vengeance in future encounters. Or picture boasting about a hard-fought victory against a rival, who will then carry the sting of defeat with them, potentially fueling a future rivalry. Complex Characters makes these scenarios and many more a reality.
But that's not all! A dynamic new ambition system gives NPCs unique goals like vendetta, rivalry, fear, throne-seeking, wealth accumulation, and the pursuit of fame. These ambitions influence their decisions on the campaign map, creating emergent gameplay and making their actions far more unpredictable and engaging.
