A demonstration of how Bannerlord Sea Battles could work out in the game. This is an improved version of the previous video.
- Added a new ship camera view that can be enabled on demand
- Depending on how many troops are in the battle, all ships will be generated.
- Each ship takes 15 crew members. Ranged troops are free to roam on moving ships while infantry needs to sit down
- Each ship picks a target enemy ship and tries to chase and board that ship, rotates, and positions itself for that.
- Boarding happens when two ships hit and get close on a certain angle
- Once you clean the ship, you can head back and gather your crew as shown in the video for attacking another ship
- When one side has more ships than the other, they stay in battle formation until one of the ships in the first-wave cleared out
- Player ship has a white tail flag and another one on the main mast ( easier to find when ship battle turns into bridge battle )
Known Stuff:
- Because of how Bannerlord ragdolls work, dead bodies stay on air after ships are pulled under them. I'm removing equipment but I didn't find a solution for this ( and also didn't want to remove all dead bodies )
- Everything above, especially the AI part bugs out in certain conditions.
