In this video I show you how I actually build these big Bitwig Grid patches people always ask about. The truth is: they are usually not as complicated as they look. I donโt start with a giant masterplan. I begin with one small sound source in one corner, and then I build layer by layer, just like I would build a normal track in a DAW.
I explain the mindset behind it, how I break songs and genres down into small functional parts, and how I turn those parts into little generators inside the Grid. Then I show some practical examples with noise, filters, random modulation, pitch quantizing, delays and allpass chains to create wind, rain, drops and ambient textures.
So this is less about โGrid tricksโ and more about how arrangement, sound design, harmony and modulation all come together in one patch. If you always wondered how I make these living, breathing patches, this is probably the clearest explanation I can give.
