Compassion practices from our Compassion training with a focus on the practice of tonglen
Tonglen, meaning "giving and taking" is a Buddhist meditation practice focused on cultivating compassion. It involves breathing suffering into a heart of pure compassion and breathing out relief, love, or whatever warmth one can offer. This practice is a form of mind training that aims to foster a deeper connection with all beings
• Develop compassion: can help you deal with blockages to opening and developing compassion.
• To live a meaningful and harmonious life.
• Moving away from an inner reactivity, so that we can respond to challenges with clarity, and integrity.
• Heal suffering: Your own suffering as well as the suffering of others.
• Change relationships: Can help you change the way you interact with people in your life. We connect more fully to other people.
• Promote generosity
• Grow spiritually
• Reduce stress
• Cultivates freedom and openness.
Can we move around this world with an open heart and a flow of compassion towards others to help relieve suffering?
