I'm just gonna go and run quickly through them. So just to explain a bit what we are actually trying to say and hopefully it brings you some additional information. Do I need a signal booster such as a Cel-fi or will a modem with an external antenna be enough? Now this is a topic that we've discussed a few times on our channel. And the key thing for me to explain here is the actual antenna does probably most of the hard work. Then the antenna connects to the input of your device. If the device is a Cel-fi or if your device is a 4G router, does the same thing. The first stage is what we call LNA, low noise amplifier. That always needs to happen no matter what the device will do with the signal that comes in, it first needs to get its initial amplification, so to speak. And that, that is the same. So from that perspective, it doesn't matter. You need to look at your needs. So your need is specifically to look for voice. That means making phone calls is the most important thing or staying connected to, through the phone network, that booster is a really a good idea. On the other hand, if you specifically look for data, you need internet and you're okay to make internet calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype, those kind of phone calls, then that modem is a better solution. 'Cause you do get a slightly better sensitivity using a MIMO device. It is a somewhat different technology and you get better reach but you can't have a voice specific function. So it's two different applications but the reach is the same. It's just how it actually converts it into something useful for you is different.
What is the best 4G setup for traveling to remote areas? The best is going to be a directional antenna. So if you want to know what is the best idea the best idea is going to be to take something like an XPOL-2 or the EPNT antenna which is an antenna that has the modem or device on behind the antenna. That's gonna be the best. You're gonna get the best quality of service but it's not always practical. So second best but not by saying it in a negative way, is to just get a really awesome antenna on the roof. And that's why we use the MIMO-3 antenna as an example to put on the roof, 'cause that can be permanently mounted. It's an antenna, you put it on there and you have a connection going forward. The beauty of any of these antennas, either XPOL-2 or the MIMO-3 12, those type of antennas they just come with cable ready for you to connect a device. In our kits, we provide you the option to buy a RUT 360 or some of the other Teltonika devices. If you have a Nighthawk M6, if you have a Nighthawk M2 or even an M5, which is no longer available, that'll work. You just need to get yourself a small TS9 to SMA adapter cable available on rfshop.com.au and you will have the same package. So if you have your own modem, no problem. If you don't have a modem, no problem. Come to our website and we can help you with a solution that fits your specific setup and your specific need. If you need a Cel-fi, also no problem. And you can connect the Cel-fi also to the same antenna. So if you're have a MIMO antenna you can also use that for your Cel-fi solution. You don't need to have a dedicated Cel-fi antenna. Next question. I don't want to always sit in my caravan to work. How far can I extend the signal from it? Now the signal here, let's say it's a router. If it's a Teltonika, it has external antenna ports. External antenna ports means you can do something else with it if you need to. So you can put a little directional antenna on there. They are only 20, 20 to $30 and that can force the signal into that direction of where you plan to sit which is going to be awesome. Or the antenna by itself or the Teltonika is actually really good. So you can expect to definitely sit outside your caravan. I would be surprised if there's no wifi in your immediate vicinity.
