This is an early demonstration of my stable raster routine. Recorded with Vice set to debug borders, demonstrating that the rasterbars start cycle-exact on each scanline at the first cycle (which is overkill precision for rasterbars in general, since the first part of each scanline is hidden by horizontal retrace anyway).
The cycle-exact timing of a stable raster routine can be used as a basis for all sorts of VIC-II hacks, such as opening all the borders, or doing special horizontal or vertical 'scrolling' tricks (beyond just the 0-7 pixel soft scrolling displacement built into the chip) without physically moving the bitmap data in memory.
