I was not planning to turn this into a video as I was just spending a little free time to make a working machine out of some of my spare parts.
But it occurred to me that occasionally saving parts from land fill can make a useful and fully functioning machine, even if it is not 100% accurate to how it was when it was new.
But also in the process having a little fun as well as ending up with a computer that is able to use most of the machine's software library and also having an individual look about it.
Purists are probably not going to like this approach, but if the end result is a machine that can bring a little joy to its owner and extend the life of these components, then why not?
So let's have a look.
