Music commission for florabriar @ Bluesky (🔞).
The general idea I was given to compose this was to create an energetic and happy Touhou-style song for Flora, their fursona. Rather than following the vibe from the games, I instead relied on the calmer nature of the Sealing Club albums.
It's kinda amazing how I've been trying really hard to experiment with other music genres as means to step away from the series' musical style, but there's always some outside influence that drives me to stick with it. I suppose it can't be helped, haha.
Regardless, I still feel pleased by how this came out.

This is the Title Screen theme.
Title themes are usually laid-back, but considering the current circumstances where Gensokyo is at stake of being ravaged by an unknown threat, I composed something more menacing.
The singing voice says “Rain falls in the Dream”, by the way. I initially wanted to record that line by myself, but singing isn’t my forte. Regardless, I was still pleased by its inclusion. After all, the digitized speech gives the song a more Outside World-esque feeling than usual.

This is the Stage 1 theme.
Some people I know think that rains are depressing. Personally, I think they’re quite relaxing. The raindrops really make you feel that you’re being cleansed of all worries. The protagonists can’t relax, however. Gensokyo is literally on the brink of being flooded.
“Venerable Ancient Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field” and “Native Faith” being present in the song doesn’t mean they are the wrongdoers, though. That’s just what the protagonists think.
