So, here's a bit of an unusual commission. I've done this for OmegaWolf3700 on Twitter, and it's basically an arrange of an original song they've commissioned previously from POLARIA POYON, so I suppose you could say this is a double commission.
I was basically asked to arrange it to sound more modern, in contrast to the chiptune vibes of the original, and this was the result.

This is the Stage 1 theme.
Some people I know think that rains are depressing. Personally, I think they’re quite relaxing. The raindrops really make you feel that you’re being cleansed of all worries. The protagonists can’t relax, however. Gensokyo is literally on the brink of being flooded.
“Venerable Ancient Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field” and “Native Faith” being present in the song doesn’t mean they are the wrongdoers, though. That’s just what the protagonists think.

This is the theme of Miyachi Mayoboshi.
Minotaurs are often portrayed in the media as beings of terrifying strength. While I did try to include those characteristics in this song, I gave it a feeling of heroism as well. Despite being a so-called hideous monster, don’t be fooled by those allegations. This minotaur is a nice person and IS your ally!
The song does feel a bit final boss-esque, doesn’t it? Don’t be fooled by that, though, we’re still in the first half of the game, lol.
