During the week of March 4, 2024, Coast Guard Commandant, Admiral Linda Fagan traveled to the U.S.Coast Guard Academy for the Annual Leadership Address where she spoke about what it means to be a "service-ready Ensign."

The next day, Admiral Fagan and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard, Master Chief Heath Jones addressed the Major Cutter Commanding Officer Conference to discuss issues affecting the fleet as well as the work being done to strengthen the service culture.
