I had a lot of people asking me to make a tutorial for all the command block stuff I have been making, this will cover all of the basics!

SYNTAX
adding an objective
/scoreboard objectives add (objective name) dummy

Adding one to an objective
(In the command block)
scoreboard players add* @a**[#] objectivename 1***

*can be one of the following: add, set, or remove
**@a if you want it to be global, @p if its for the closest player, or @r for random
***how much you want to add each time it updates
#any conditional you wish to add. This is best done with reference to another variable. For example: [score_anotherobjective=1,score_anotherobjective_min=1]

The check function
This is essentially how you would transmit the signal wirelessly. When the value is seen as 'true', a signal strength of 1 will be outputted through a comparator from the command block.
/testfor @a[#]

#similar to the other check, common usage would be something like this:
[score_anotherobjective=1,score_anotherobjective_min=1]
