During this Comic Con Panel three Creators: Alice May Oseman, Hamish Steele and Charlie Adlard discuss taking Comic Projects from Book to Screen and back again.
With additional questions such as "How can the Comic World pull some of these Television and Movies Watchers back to the Comic Book Source Material."
About The Panel:
Alice May Oseman is an English author of young adult fiction.
They secured their first publishing deal at 17, and had their first novel, Solitaire, published in 2014. They are also the author of Radio Silence, I Was Born For This, Loveless, and the web comic Heartstopper the latter of which will soon be coming to screen.
Hamish Steele is a freelance animation director and illustrator from London. He graduated from Kingston University with First Class Honors in 2013 and since then has worked for the BBC, Frederator Studios, Blink!Ink, BOOM! Studios, Random House and Nickelodeon and Big Finish. Pantheon is his first graphic novel with Dead Endia coming to Netflix soon.
Charles Adlard is a British comic book artist known Primarily for his work on books such as The Walking Dead, X-Files and Savage.
- I personally love Charlie’s artwork and highly recommend getting a piece drawn by him if you are fortunate enough to have the chance.
