Hey Everyone!
I sincerely hope you're all having a wonderful summer in spite of the insufferable heat wave many of us are currently experiencing.
Okay, some of you may be wondering, "Isn't this a comic art focused channel?", and yes, you're correct. However, I've always said I like to experiment with different ideas and given that the structure of many of the shows I've produced thus far is such that we often go off on tangents in the middle of Hang Outs, Show & Tells, Roundtables, etc, tonight's decision to produce and host an episode where the only thing related to comic art is that the Live Chat Crew will still be the primary audience, was predicated on the impromptu Pilot Episode of "Film Talk" which spontaneously broke out at the end of the Neon Dragon Show & Tell #15. If you're a comic art fan, the primary thing that brings us all together every Sunday evening, but also like shooting the shit with like minded collector friends about topics OTHER than just comic art, then viewing that final segment of that episode is an absolute must. Even if only to see 70 minutes of collectors ganging up on me to make jokes at my expense in response to some confessions I made about certain movies and a certain crappy actor and crappier character he once played!
Anyway, we all had a blast and I can tell you based on the feedback I received after the show, that the reason it is one of the most watched episodes we've ever produced is in large part BECAUSE rewind viewers have WANTED to see us all have fun talking about something other than comic art. Does that mean it's automatically a good idea to produce a full episode featuring comic art collectors talking film? Not really, but we won't know unless we try! So check that out first if you can, and then tune in and watch to see if this planned episode goes off the rails in a fiery pit of failure, or if it's even more fun than the pilot episode was!
