Hey Everyone! Welcome to the 11th Episode of Comic Art 101! For this episode, just to show a little bit of balance in the "Reselling art at auction after holding for less than 5 years" equation, I thought I'd show you some "exceptions to the rule". These are sales and purchases in which the owner resold the art at auction after less than 5 years of ownership, but actually made a profit rather than a loss, something which the data shows only happens in approximately 15% of cases. But not all is as rosy as it may sound even for these winners, so tune in to see what I mean by that. Just 7 days after my 5 hour, non-stop talk-a-thon, I hope my voice holds out! By the way, thanks so much to all of you who attended last week's episode and special extra thanks to you rewind viewers who still watched in great numbers even though the great Matt Kennedy did not co-host with me. Not quite the same numbers of the previous two 'Stop the Insanity' episodes, but close enough and still higher view numbers than the first two episodes, which is great, as I expected a drop-off due to not having Matt with me. While I'm happy with how the episode went overall, I have to say that hosting the show by myself was very taxing from a physical standpoint, as the entirety of my body from the chest up, both inwardly and outwardly, was incredibly sore after 5 hours of non-stop talking! I think I'll try to say less this time....
