Comet Atlas is best viewable by naked eye before sunrise and after sunset and from the northern hemisphere May 10th to 24th May the comet is only reflecting sunlight and that's why it's best to view at these times you will be able to view it with camera doing long exposures at different times of the night you will not see it in direct sunlight it will appear slightly larger than the planet Venus so just a small dot in the evening sky or morning sky but it will have a long tail reflecting light back so you could get some great pictures just using a 200 mm lens on a regular DSLR camera.
